Byzantine Empire, or the Western Roman Empire, with Constantinople as capital city, named “byzantine” centuries after the end of it, from the ancient Greek colony of the city of Megara, Byzantium(from Byzas). Orthodox Church started playing role in people’s lives. High-level orthodox priests in Greece today have managed to live about with the same privileges. Agia Sofia(Saint Sofia) was the centre of the orthodoxy for centuries. Till 1453, when Ottomans with Mohamed the Conqueror, made Istanbul(from the phrase εις την πόλιν(= in the city) the capital city of his empire, the Ottoman Empire. Ottomans, Turks’ ancestors, were violent, Asian, Mongolian tribes and as muslims wanted to dominate. Life in ottoman era wasn’t easy. They caused lots of sorrow and made Christians pain and suffer many times. Even if, in “Greek-Turkish”… friendship is not “politically correct” saying that Turks or Ottomans before them were violent and cruel. But history is history. And these crimes are written in the books not only from Greek historians. This era left the “ottoman type” of governing. Europe and then America found the opportunity to earn money from “Greek problems”. From 1821 British mainly bankers(Rothschild) provide our “authorities” loans. For this “help” we should attend every British demand. Thanks to these loans, the dependence from Britain(France and Tsars’ Russia) and their bad for us use we became “independent” country. As independent as Albion wanted. Because of this situation we bankrupted in 1827(during the Revolution), 1843, 1893, 1932… Because of this we couldn’t reach in progress and living level the rest of Europe. Every war and tragedy is related with our bad financials and our dependence from British Empire. And then the “American Empire”(which might end because of the US debt). Every aspect of our history, life has a foreign involvement. For 200 years you have earned tones of gold from corrupted “politicians” in Greece. Why Greek youth must pay a debt for which it hasn’t any responsibility? Our slavery 20 months now wasn’t THE ONLY WAY. It’s the path to hell. Even now there’s a solution. Erase the debt NOT only the Greek. Austerity measures and IMF “therapy” are unconstitutional. That’s why people protest(and a few weeks ago in 100 cities around Europe in the same time). No one has given an explanation and an answer in our questions “WHY we reached again in the edge of the cliff?”. Neither in EU and the USA and of course not in Greece. Reach the guilty for the “Greek tragedy” in the “politicians” and the Greek oligarchy which you supported for decades. The debt is not ours. Every cent of every country’s debt belongs in “financial criminals” and their political inferiors(so called “governments”). They want, through their propaganda, to separate Europeans and make their “New World Order” and “Global Government” dream come truth. The cause of the crisis ISN’T in Greece but in the way of money production and the fact that our elected “governors” CAN’T or DON’T WANT TO rule and they have left for money and glam and luxury economy in “financial trashes”.
